Pipe sleeve-in is a trenchless method to repair existing pipelines by inserting a replacement PE pipe into the existing pipeline. Though some reduction in flow capacity is inevitable, this can be minimized by careful preparation and cleaning of the old pipe so that the largest possible diameter of new PE pipe can be inserted.

Pipe sleeve-in method can be applied for all common damages, such as e.g. tears, leakages, deformations up to 20% of the pipes' cross section, misalignment, tree root infestation, ground water and infiltration. With this method, conventional excavation work for replacing entire pipeline can be avoided the method only requires manhole access.
